Man in wall- Paris

Does anyone know where the man in the wall is in Paris?

Also, since I'm typing, what about the "I love you" wall?

Thanks.

Out of curiousity, I googled this and discovered it is in Montmartre. It is a rather nonconventional sculpture. Have a great trip!

There is another one in the alley between rue Quincampoix and the Pompidou Center, coming out of the wall of the Wallonia-Bruxelles cultural center.

The "I Love You Wall" (le mur des je t'aime) is located at Place d'Abbesses, just east of the metro entrance.

For more, see

http://www.lesjetaime.com/english/lemur.html

From Abbesses, you can take Montmartrobus to Moulin de la Galette, and le Passe-muraille is just behind that (it's a restaurant). Walking is uphill all the way.

It is based on a story by Marcel Aime that was made into two films long ago. The sculptor was the famous Actor Jean Marais

If you have a few hours, Paris Walks has a great walking tour of this area that starts at the "I Love You" wall and includes the Mr. Limetree wall as well as all of the places that impressionist artist lived and painted. It's a great tour.
