MALPENSA TO MILAN

Do any of you know how much a taxi would be form the airport to Milan? The cruise company wants $90 per person. That seems a bit high!! I hope a taxi would be cheaper. Don't want to wrestle large bags on a bus or train.

I think my daughter paid about $60 last summer from Malpensa to Milan. You can check with the company that I booked it through- BestViaggi.com- for an online quote.

Thanks for the quick reply. I thought a car or taxi would be cheaper.

Don't know how I would have gotten half of this trip planned without this board.

Hello nole62, in case you are interested here in the website for the Malpensa Shuttle bus that takes you to the central train station in Milan. Your luggage is put in the storage area under the bus so you don't have to deal with it on the bus. A very easy and inexpensive way to get into Milan. You can take a taxi from the train station (Centrale) to whereever you need to go to in Milan.

Have a wonderful trip!

nole62,

It takes about 45 minutes or so depending on traffic from Malpensa to Milan, so that's probably why the taxi is a bit expensive.

I've done both the bus shuttle and the train and the bus is very easy. It's not far from the baggage area (at least in the terminal I've used several times) and the coaches are clean and comfortable. The driver loads and unloads the bags.
