Mallorca Can't decide
My parents will have a time-share in Mallorca in March for one week. My husband and I cannot decide if we should go. What will there be for us to do during that time? And also is the ferry from Barcelona to Mallorca really overnight?

try to check out some mallorca websites to see the array of things to keep you busy.
www.mallorcaonline.com and any other site you can easily google will show you MORE than we can tell you.
mallorca is beautiful.
fly cheaply between bcn and pmi. ferry takes 4.5 hours from barcelona port but is usually a lot more than flying.
also has two options fro disembarking sometimes.. palma or alcudia.
nearby menorca is also nice.

Yes, the one I took left Barcelona at around 11 pm and arrived Palma at 7 am.
The cabins are quite confortable with toilets and shower.
On the way back it left Palma at 1pm and arrived Barcelona at 8pm. There is a restaurant, a cafeteria and a pool on board. There are fast ferries which only take 4 to 5 hours.
You can take the little train to Sollers and sail from Sollers to La Colobra, visit the caves on the eastern coast, visit the church and monastery in Lluç, go to the Inca market in the center of the island, etc... From Alcudia you can sail out of the bay and have lunch on board with grilled sardines and ensaimada (the local pastry, etc, etc....
