Malaga Holiday Rentals

My husband and I would like to rent an apt for about 3 weeks March-April ‘24. We are active, social retirees but not interested in the club scene. Someplace near the water with a touch of authenticity, perhaps a residential area, would be great. Any thoughts as to neighborhoods and real estate agency recommendations?
Tia.

We spent a year living in a small town 30km north of Malaga and frequently went there for weekends or just the day. To celebrate one wedding anniversary we rented an apartment right in the centre closen to Artazanas market. Not especially close to the beach but a really nice apt and would not hesitate to return. It was Iloftmalaga Premium Centro Historico and we booked via booking.com

We've stayed for extended periods in Malaga 3 times and love it!

Have used these rentals agents and highly recommend all three

Pricey but lovely properties

https://solaga.co.uk/

These two have less expensive properties

As far as areas we always rent close to the Cathedral (and market) as we like the pedestrianized historic centre. Also we're there earlier in the year so the beach isn't really a factor.

Have a great time!

We rented an apartment from Solaga this past March near the cathedral. We really liked our apartment and Solaga was really easy to work with.

I believe Genteel Homes and MintyStay both have apartments in Malaga.

I haven't stayed in the apartments yet (my trip is in December) but I have an apartment booked in other cities through both of these groups, and they have been very responsive, polite and helpful.
