Majorca (Mallorca) Hotels/Location
Need help please. 25 grad students looking for beach and nightlife. Tight budget ($50per person per night). Any suggestions for location in Majorca (Mallorca) and hotels/apartments?
Length of stay 3 days.
Thank you!

When do you guys plan to go? Beach and nightlife means June-September.. much less going on afterwards.
Most hotels/apartment complexes there usually rent to major travel industry companies which themselves offer flight+accomodation packages. Will be hard to find anything but hostals, IMO.
Have you already booked flights tp Mallorca? If partying is one prime concern, I would recommend Ibiza.. much younger crowds, always party..

Danny, Majorca is very popular in the summer but really if you are sharing, you should be able to keep within your budget.
Try Googling Majorca self-catering or try contacting a UK-based travel agent such as Thomas Cook or US based for that matter. Most packages are sold including air fares but you might be able to find a land-only package. What might work is if a travel agent could find you two-bedroom flats in the same block--4 or 6 to a flat would give you a budget of $200 to $300 a night.
I think you would want to be on one of the beaches near Palma but believe there is nightlife on the far side of the island. Someone younger than I needs to answer that!

Hi Danny,
We live in Majorca, best place 8or at least one high on your list) must be Magaluf. It's just the best, great nightlife, discos, plenty of cheap hotels.
check:

for information for Magaluf and other parts of Majorca. Flights, Hotels etc. It's all there
