Madrid-Toledo Express Bus
A couple of days ago I found a bus schedule for Madrid-Toledo that indicated which buses are express and which aren't.
Now I can't seem to find it.
Anybody know where it is?
Thanks.

Myer,
The bus co. is Continental Galiano, a division of Continental Auto. I just looked at their web site.
Go to www.continental-auto.es, then click on
"horario y venta de billetes", then select "zona centro". Click on "ver orígenes", then select "Madrid MAlvaro", click "aceptar", then click on "ver destino", select Toledo, click "aceptar" and the schedule should pop up.
There are 37 daily departures from the Estación Sur de Autobuses above the metro station Méndez Alvaro in southern Madrid to Toledo. To check whether a departure is express, you need to click on the far right arrow, "más información" of the departure you're interested in, then click again on the arrow at the far right, "ver paradas" , and the route should pop up.
Now, having said all that, I just looked at each departure and didn't see an EXPRESS until 11 a.m., arriving in Toledo at 11:50.
Then there isn't another express listed until 1 p.m.
According to the schedule, the express busses take 50 min., and others take 1 hr. 15 min.
Don't know whether this is absolutely accurate or not.

Thanks Maribel,
I noticed the exact same thing. I didn't even look at the stops. I just looked at the departure/arrival times and saw that there are only 2 express buses listed. As you wrote 11AM and 1PM.
This just doesn't seem right.
I know I saw another web site (the background was white) on Friday that showed 2 sets of times. The one above was the 'milk run' and the one listed below was Expreso.
If/when I find it I'll post the url.
Thanks again.

I know this does not quite answer the question but....
I recently took an express bus from Toledo to Madrid. It left at 12:30. (t was just luck that I left at that time) It was a 55 minute trip. (It made one stop, in Madrid, just a few minutes from the bus station.) The 12:30 departure seems to tie in with an express bus from Madrid at 11:00 am.

Myer,
Perhaps you're thinking of www.movelia.es, which provides schedules and booking for most (though not all) spanish bus service.
Hope this helps,
Andre
