Lyon -hotel and area recommendations

Plan to be there in April..

Anyone stay at the HOtel Roosevelt recently?
Are there specific areas I should look into for a centrally located hotel for around $150 a night?

Thanks

I recommend Hotel des Artistes; I think it's www.hoteldesartistes.com

Great location, nice rooms, and reasonably priced; just little over 100 e.

You could give the reasonably priced Grand Hotel Boscolo a go;

http://www.boscolohotels.com/hotel.cfm?SectionId=974

Right in the middle of the presqu'ile, it's easy to get to and within walking distance of most attractions. In fact, many of the larger hotels on the presqu'ile are decent and pretty well priced, so searching in this area, or near Place Bellecour should turn up something good.

Hope you enjoy your visit to my favourite city. (Yes I prefer it to Paris, before anyone asks...)
