Lunch Near Hampton Court?
Anybody know of a good place near Hampton Court Palace to have lunch?

We took the bus from "downtown" London to Hampton Court and it leaves you across the bridge from H.C. There are some pubs there for lunch, nothing special, just to stave off hunger.

If you are visiting the Palace - just eat in the cafe in the garden - not far from the maze. It is cafeteria style but has very good food and lovely seating outside if the weather is nice. Then you can spend more time seeing the Palace and grounds.

Thanks. It has been way too many years since I visited Hampton Court Palace and I couldn't remember if there was anything close by. Janis, the cafe sounds perfect.

Last July we ate at a wonderful Chinese restaurant in the little town sort of across the street from the entrance. The food was delicious and the prices fair.
