Lunch Near Fondation Luis Vuitton?

Hi, all! I just bought tickets to the Hockney exhibition at Fondation Luis Vuitton and discovered that getting all the way to the Bois de Boulogne is quite a trek. Can you recommend any places for lunch in that neighborhood? Thanks!

It is in the Bois de Boulogne, so closest is near A de T area, but think they might have some dining in the musee. Otherwise, check out the 7th or 8th arrr as your best bet. It's a great venue. Hmm, if around the 7th, I'd pick up a fabulous picnic at le Grand Epicerie (behind Le Bon Marche in the 7th) and eat on the grounds. But of course that is weather dependent

There is a fabulous restaurant in the museum -- Restaurant le Frank. Definitely pre-book.

Oh! janisj, did you really enjoy the restaurant? I'm seeing reviews that seem to think it's not worth the cost, but it's definitely intriguing!

I went for lunch and I thought it was really good especially my salmon main course. But the menu is changeable so who knows. Definitely not cheap but really convenient and I found the service fine.

Restaurant Frank was a delight when we were there for the Rothko retrospective. Why not take full advantage while there to enjoy the ambiance of its wonderful architecture, gaze through the walll of windows at the surrounding greenery of the park and enjoy lunch with a glass of wine. The school of fish sculpture suspended from the soaring ceiling was mesmerizing. The relaxing hour in the restaurant extended our visit and was a wonderful finish to the morning spent in this amazing edifice. Our lunch was excellent, no complaints, as was the glass of champagne accompanying it. A reservation is recommended but we went in without one unsure of how much time we would be spending at the exhibit and only waited about 15 minutes to be seated.

Wow! That sure is a ringing endorsement of Restaurant Frank! I will share it with my friends and see if they'll consider it.
