Luggage suggestions

Help me!

I'm looking for a rolling garmet bag that's not too big (not concerned about it being small enough to carry on, though), but that can fit casual clothes, in addition to a couple of suits. It needs to be durable, and I'm not really concerned with how it looks.

At Bentley's this week: Kenneth Lane (I think), beautiful leather ~$245 with a zipped pouch on front for shirts, skivvies, whatever. The garment bag folded and zipped around the edges so it could be carried like a suitcase. Probably would fold to fit under seat or in overhead. They also had another that folded and zipped closed but was a formed fabric (less mashing of articles inside). It also had good sized pouches on front for the non-hanging items. Too big for under seat but maybe overhead. I didn't check the dimensions. Around $100. Sorry I can't remember the name - began with an "A" I believe.

Yes, Bentley's is a chain. I was in Fort Lauderdale at the time I saw these items, but I've seen them elsewhere, although maybe not outside of Florida. I've lived in DC, and I think they were there as well. Check yellow pages - luggage. I don't know if they have website but the card the salesperson gave me doesn't list one nor an 800 #.

Okay, yes, Bentley's does have a web site: Bentleys.com, no apostrophe. And they had many many rolling and otherwise garment bags, some on sale. Those might be the e-purchases. They have stores in northern VA and MD. It was Kenneth Cole not Lane and on sale - I wonder who Kenneth Lane is?

Check out the Perfect Fold bags at www.qvc.com - we love ours. Bought the smaller ones five years ago and they're still in perfect condition after many, many trips. Recently got a couple of larger ones for longer trips. You hang them up to pack. Clothes go in on regular hangers. Pockets for fold-up things, shoes, etc. Holds an amazing amount of stuff, and the more you pack, the more wrinkle free it arrives. Nice outside compartment, strap for attaching your carry-on or a tote, etc. You wouldn't believe the quality for the price. And, there's a no questions asked 30-day money-back guarantee. The real advantage of these bags is that if you are staying a night or two here and there, you don't have to unpack and repack or dig around - you can hang up the bag and live out of it. They sell out constantly, so hope they're available at the moment.

I love Delsey foldover garmet trolleys. They are durable, packable, and affordable. I had two Delsy foldover bags that I replaced last year because they did not have wheels. My husband an I bought a new wheeled bag in Chicago last year and have since bought a second. You would not be sorry if you bought this bag. Delsey is sold in most luggage stores and at many major department stores. My new bag holds two weeks worth of clothes!
