Lufthansa Flight Changed To Condor Air
I am booked on Lufthansa from Miami to Munich in late Dec. Today I was online and noticed that both my flights (to and from) have now been changed to a "Partner Airline"
Condor Air ( the flight times changed about an hour as well). I did some research on Condor, so I know something about them. My question is.. Have any of you guys ever flown Condor, if so what was your experience? Do you think they are any better or worse than Lufthansa? Also, do you think Lufthansa should have notified me about this change? Once again...Thank You for any and all advice and opinions.

I've flown Condor a couple of times, the last being Munich to Crete a few months ago. That was fine, just like Lufthansa. I think you have to pay extra for seat reservations on Condor, so you might check on that. I think Condor is actually owned by Lufthansa and LH does their maintenance.

I know with American based airlines if an airlines makes any schedule change to a booking-they generally must allow you to freely change your reservation to another flight if you so chose (on the same airline of course). If you're not happy call Lufthansa and inquire about the possiblities.

Thanks for your replies. I talked to Lufthansa and they "assured" me the same service on Condor as they would give. I'll also get my Lufthansa Miles and More points. I did ask about changing to a Lufthansa flight and it would cost me BIG $$$. As long as it's not Air-Tran, I'll live. Just a funny note...I checked on the Condor web-site and it said "As of November 1st 2003, SMOKING WILL NO LONGER BE ALLOWED on any Condor flight.. As a smoker, I guess I missed the bpat. Ha-Ha

Hello Dahlings.
For the past few years I have been flying to Germany couple times a year. If Frnkfurt is convinient for you do yourslef a favor go Singopur Air. Best price, superb service, pretty good menu, personal tv screen right in front of you in the back of front seat and choice of 6-7 fresh movies running few times during the flight, free headphones and unlimited free drinks...Even my German friends choosing Sing.Air over Luft.
However interesting case. My German friend went once Luft. and they lost his luggage...Soon after he got $3.000(nomination) for lost possesion. In a few weeks later they found his stuff but never asked to return money...Hmmm...Still..Go SingaporAir...
