Lucca -- Seeking 4 day apartment rental
Hi all,
I'm not having much luck trying to find a small apartment (2 of us) in the center of Lucca for 4 nights next May. (I've tried twice on one with a great view (VRBO) but did not receive a response.) And quite a few of them only do weekly rentals,
Anybody have any suggestions based on personal experience? Thank you.

Not personal experience, but the city website has some links.

Thanks, I'll take a look at that.
(Was just turned down by two more already rented VRBO apartments this morning. Booking all my other Italy accommodations was a piece of cake...not so in Lucca. Must be a VERY popular area.)

You might try looking at other websites such as venere.com or booking.com. You might also look at B&B's as some of them have kitchenettes. You can search the map on this link to locate places inside the walls.

Is there a particular reason you are picking Lucca? It's really not convenient for many areas of Tuscany.

Thank you for the suggestions. I will take a look and see if any of the in-town apartments rent for 4 nights only.
kybourbon - we are staying in Montepulciano for 4 nights and then Lucca for 4 nights so we have access to both areas of Tuscany (and a bit of Umbria) this trip. (Have stayed in San Quirico - per Bob's suggestion - previously.)
