Lucca -Best way to rent an apartment/townhouse
Hi All -
We will be spending a couple weeks in Lucca Italy next summer. Does anyone have any recommendations on how/where to look at options for apartment/townhouse rentals.
We want to be in the old-town. It needs to be pretty large - holding 6-7 people.
Thanks

We rented an apartment in Lucca in May through bbplanet.it
I enquired about several apartment through their site and received answers directly from the owners. In the end, we rented a small two bedroom apartment La Paolina Apartment from Chiara & Lee. They are musicians, and speak perfect English, Lee more so as he is American.
The rent was very reasonable, and they were very accommodating.

You may want to take a look at these websites:
http://www.lucca.info/ you can scroll down the page and see listings for apartments, villas, etc
www.vrbo.com
www.homeaway.com
We have used both vrbo & homeaway several times in Germany and France.
Good luck and I hope this helps you find accommodations.
