Depends a great deal from where you plan to travel. Assuming from the States, have a try with Orbitz, Sidestep, Farechase, and Qixo. However, if you plan to stay >30 days then try an airfare consolidator such as Travelteam.com or Flights.com.

Childrens fares are usually 25% reduction.

I recently booked an open jaw ticket from Houston to Frankfurt and back to Houston from London through www.aa.com (American Airlines website). They had prices that were lower or equal to those of Travelocity, Expedia, Qixo, etc. You need to check as many websites as possible so you'll know a good deal when you see it.

I'm wondering about some of these sites? For example - onetravel.com. Where do they get their tickets, do they honor refunds, etc.? And on a broader level, does anyone know of a website that explains all of the travel sites - what kind of tickets, pricing, airlines, etc you can get from Obitz, vs Expedia, vs Travelocity.. I think understanding the logic will make us better shoppers!

Almost puzzling. Don - - who is the guru of the universe, in residence at www.eurotrip.com - - on all matters of cheap flights, seems to never cite the website where you may want to ask this question first and foremost.

How come, Don? Just that reserved? Or do you have a financial interest in www.eurotrip.com ??

Whatever the case, I remain very, VERY grateful to the Eurotrip site (specifically the cheap flights forum) - - and will mention it anytime.

Best wishes,

Rex
