Low Cost Airline from Prague

Does anyone know of a low cost airline that flies from Prague to either Munich, Salzburg or Vienna. I have checked numerous low cost carriers through attitudetravel.com, checked smartwings.net which no longer flies to Vienna and openjet.com with no luck. If anyone knows of a low cost carrier out of Prague to these destinations please advise. Thanks.

Hopefully, the website www.whichbudget.com will keep you up to date in the volatile market from which smartwings.net has (evidently) disappeared (after less than one year in business - - didn't even realize that they were gone already!)

Best wishes,

Rex

I checked whichbudget, and there're no flights listed for Prague to Austria or to Munich. Supposedly you can fly to Cologne from Vienna though:

Hi kc,

www.europebyair.com will fly you from Dresden to Munich for $99.

It's 2 hr on the train to Dresden.

Why not just take a train? From Prague to Vienna it's a 5 hour train ride and it will cost around ~$40 per person. It's also from city center to city center. If you did fly it would probably take you just as long when you consider the times to the airports, the required check-in time, etc.

Holy cow! My post above was grossly wrong - - fortunately it seems like nobody understood what I was suggesting (that the airline had disappeared and ceased all routes!); glad I didn't accidentally start a stampede!

Really sorry! I guess there might be some reasons to avoid SmartWings, but "out of business" seems to entirely unfounded, as of right now, at least!
