Lourdes to Zaragoza, Spain

My friend and I will be visiting Lourdes in September and are planning to visit Zaragoza, Spain. Is it difficult to catch a train from Lourdes to Zaragoza? If someone knows about the train system, I would appreciate your advice. Thanks.

It's not the easiest thing in the world. You'll have to leave Lourdes at 6:47, change at Bayonne and Irun, and reach Zaragoza at 14:35. For trains in Spain, see www.renfe.es; outside of Spain, www.bahn.de. Unfortunately, you sort of have to work out the interface between them yourself.

Hi Joe,
with the following website you can get the connections Jahoulih was talking about
http://reiseauskunft.bahn.de

Try also with
http://voyages.sncf.fr

It is quite complicated and tiring, and it involves a couple of changes. I don´t know how it will be in September, but during summer there are buses that go from Huesca or Jaca to Lourdes, accross the Pyrenees. Maybe if you ask at the tourist information in Lourdes, they could inform you. There is a possibility of a bus travelling to Zaragoza...

Hi Joe,
the bus service I mentioned before is the following:
http://www.alosa.es/zalou.htm

It runs only Saturdays and Sundays, from the 14th of June to the 7th of September. It´s a long journey, really.
