Hi Howard,
It's kind of a long address.

http://directory/google.com/Top/Arts...s/Europe/Italy

This will bring up the sites for La Scala, the opera houses in Bologna & Florence & I think a few sites for Rome. La Fenice in Venice is still in the process of being restored & doesn't have a site listed as it won't re-open til 2003.

BC

Howard,
You're welcome. (Sorry, Ursula, chose to represent you without your permission, but you're always very generous with your knowledge & help.)

I was really upset to hear about La Fenice, but luckily had seen it before the fire. I hope they can restore it to its prior grandeur.

BC

Thanks, Paulo. You always come through. This time, I won't lose the list.
I hope I have better luck than two years ago when I spent several futile months trying to find out the schedule of opera house in Rome, only to finally learn that it was closed for restoration. And, the irony was that our hotel was less than two blocks from the building!
