Looking for comments on this Amsterdam apartment

http://www.findrentals.com/13314.html

After posting this morning on another thread that I like the Spui area, I find this apartment which is close to Dam and the train station that appeals to me for a week in July. I suppose it's not a great area, but since we've been to Amsterdam several times and will probably be doing day trips by train out nearly every day, that location seems a little more logical. The apartment looks nice, attractive (other than the ugly bathroom tile), comfortable, and is 910 euro for the full week. I'm open to other ideas, but I keep putting off reserving other choices because there always seems to be something I don't like about them.
Any comments on this one, particularly that street which appears to be all pedestrian?

Warmoestraat is a very unusual street - in the heart of the redlight district and lined by sex shops, coffeeshops and generally one of the sleaziest streets in the city. Yes pedestrian. Lined by very cheap hotels and hostels, some are dives.
Don't know anything about the flat but it is close to Centraal Station.

I think my bearings were a little off when I first looked at the map. I was picturing this street as being just to the west of Damrak, but apparently it is to the east. Here's the location:

I guess that is the red light district? I was thinking the RL district was still further east.

Yes the street is the next one east of Damrak. While there are not redlights right on the street they begin right in the lanes leading off the street...so the street is one the very edge of the Redlight District.

Well, I guess I go back my other choice. Tiny, but a lovely area and nice canal view with some style for the same price.
