DH and I will be going to Italy next fall and intend to start with a week in Bologna. We are looking for a roomy and comfortable apartment within walking distance of Piazza Maggiore, and I have been surfing all kinds of sites looking at apartments. Has anyone stayed in an apartment there? Can you give me any recommendations? I've looked at slowtrav.com, etc. and need some guidance.

I have been apartment hunting in Bologna as well. I came across this site. They list 60 apartments for short term or long term rental in Bologna. Hope this helps.
