tfl no longer sells paper 7 day travelcards...all 7 day travelcards bought at a tube station will be on oyster...some of the national rail stations continue to sell London 7 day travelcards on paper tickets..I don't know about other London Underground sellers but there is no way I would want to buy a paper 7 day travelcard especially for the possibility of extension fares but as I said this is a moot issue if bought at a tube station.

Well if what xyz123 says is true, it is a VERY recent change, because like I said, I bought paper travelcards both from tfl and at a tube station (Gloucester Road to be precise) in May, three months ago. I'm not saying either paper or Oyster is better or worse, just that both exisit as options.

And yes, the exchange rate between the dollar and the pound is obscene, but that's not something we didn't already know.
