London to Brussles

What would you say is a) the cheapest and/or b) the easiest way to get from London to Brussles?
Want to tour the Battle of the Bulge and Battle of Bastogne. Haven't found the tour I want yet, but assuming they start from Brussles? I'll be in London the day before.

The easiest way is by train - www.eurostar.com

You travel directly from St Pancras in central London to Brussels Midi in central Brussels.

You will get the cheapest prices if you can book ahead, as soon as your dates become available. Eurostar sell tickets 3 months ahead so if you make a note to check as soon as they become available you will get the best price.

I haven't done any of the tours you mention but you could check on the Belgian or Brussels tourist office website.

Ditto what Kay said - no question that it's Eurostar. If you book far in enough in advance you can a round trip far for less than 80 quid.

Cheapest would be Eurolines, but I suspect you don't mean THAT cheap

I'm not 100% clear - you want to take an organised tour of the battlefield, or you want to tour on your own? I've no knowledge of organised tours but I would assume they're more likely to depart from the centre of Brussels, in which case a Eurostar would be the best option. But if such tours aren't available/suitable, flying over to Brussels airport then hiring a car for the 90 minute drive down to Bastogne is very straightforward and gives you plenty of flexibility.
