London theatre tickets help

I am trying to buy tkts for Wicked at the Apollo Victoria theatre in London via the box office phone number. No luck any suggestions? Also, when I try to buy from Ticketmaster they keep offering seats I don't want. I don't see their phone number either so I have to go seats they offer by seats they offer. No chance to see available seats chart to make it easy to choose the seats. Does this all make sense?

I don't have too much help to offer, but I remember researching theater tickets for London some years ago, and stumbling on at least one agency other than Ticketmaster. I suggest a google search for London theater tickets.

Also, if you have a guidebook, there will probably be suggestions for buying theater tickets.

A guestion: do you mean that the theater box office does not answer its phone? Is there a recorded message?

www.theatremonkey.com/ has seating charts for all the venues . . . .

What do you mean by "no luck" w/ the theatre? They don't answer, you can't get through on the phone, or they don't have seats?

The theater phone probably operates during local hours. I have always been able to buy or reserve tickets via the phone at a theater. Search by theater name...Often the operator is pleased to field a foreign or American call!

http://www.theatretickets.co.uk/

We used this website, not ticketmaster to buy tickets to Les Miserable in London last year, and just had our tickets picked up at the box office the day of the show.

Good luck,

Jules

phone numbers and contact details for wicked:
(0)870 4000 751 or (0)870 402 0180 .
or website
wickedTheMusical.co.uk

I did try calling the first number after hours and it was forwarded to ticketmaster. Not sure what happens during box office hours

Forgot an important point. Pre sales for this show have been amazing. There might be limited availability for when you want to go

Another site where you can view the venue seating chart, read reviews, etc., is www.londontheatre.co.uk

I assume you dialed this number for the box office: 0870 4000 889

http://www.lastminute.com/lmn/pso/ca...mp;CATID=94226

it gives available dates - and as has already been said many shows are sold out
