London: The New Brixton...

http://www.nytimes.com/2014/05/05/wo...rges.html?_r=0

An interesting story about how the once dicey down-at-its-heels Brixton has been revitalized.

Personally I liked the old Brixton too - something different but the new Brixton promises to be more of a liking to tourists - for something a bit different in London check out Brixton!

Don't worry, there are still some dicey parts of it left that you can enjoy . Rental and house prices have certainly increased.

There are a couple of decent restaurants in the old market.

Not your average London market

Electric Avenue Market - still has a Carib look and feeling to it.

I read that with interest in the paper. But why did the author not mention the best song mention of the area…Guns of Brixton by the Clash?
