Thanks Janisj.....we still have some time before we are actually there so that should be just fine. Glad to know that life is returning to normal.

We did a big bus tour of london on day one and it was great. Hop on and hop off whenever you want. Buses are frequent and a great way to learn the layout of the city and get some fun and interesting history.
We loved the marais. Great walking and cafes/bistros. Location is also very good for other tourist attractions--long walk or short metro ride to most.
