London Hyde Park Hotel

Has anyone stayed there? Is it a safe neighborhood? We need to use Hilton points and that looked less expensive than others closer to Trafalger Square area. Will it be hard to get to theatre district from there? Are Bayswater and Queensway tube stops convenient for sightseeing?

It's a lovely neighborhood. The Queensway tube stop will take you directly to Oxford Circus, where you can change trains to go pretty much anywhere. Not as convenient as Trafalgar Square but close enough.

Here's the tube map: http://www.tfl.gov.uk/assets/downloa...d-tube-map.pdf

As the previous poster said; very easy to get around using the Central Line from Queensway or the Circle Line from Bayswater. Or take a bus from Bayswater Road. 94 goes to Piccadilly Circus - easy walk to most theatres from there.

I just had breakfast there the other day. it is on a very quiet street. We had no problem getting there nor to our next venue.

Thanks for the comfort level. Just booked for 7 nights-points for 5, paid for 2.
