I'm trying to decide on a hotel for my stay in London in June. I will be staying for nine nights, and while I don't plan on spending too much time in the room, other than sleeping, I would at least like it to be clean and tolerable. I definitely want a room with a shower / toilet in the room. Breakfast included would be nice, but isn't a must. I would also like it to be in a good location, with easy access to tourist-y sites, restaurants, etc. I would say my budget is no more than 75-80 pounds/night.

& I put together a list of potential places...I've looked a little on trip advisor, but there's always such a range of opinion, I find it hard to decide on anything!!

I never understand these posts on Fodors - at the most you'll get the personal opinions of a few people who've stayed at maybe 3 or 4 of the hotels you mention. For a better cross-section of reviewers' opinion, you're far better off at tripadvisor.com.

People here have used Priceline sucessfully.

Also, do not forget that B&Bs are a good option in London.

Also...have you looked in the Fodor Guide to London here? They have some suggestions.

I'm familiar w/ maybe 3 or 4 on your list but haven't stayed at any (and probably wouldn't consider most of them)

You have this long laundry list of miscellaneous budget B&B hotels - instead of doing it that way, it would be MUCH better if you told us your budget and then asked for recommendations.

If your budget is $85-$100/£55-£65 a night, using Priceline you can get a 4 star place 10000% better than any on your list
