Hello. We will be going to London in August- first time. Has anyone stayed at the Trafalgar Hilton?

This board is light on Hilton info.
Try: http://www.flyertalk.com/

Go to the Flyertalk Miles area & down to Hilton. There you can search for info.

We just returned from the Park Lane & it was superb.

I will secod flyertalk.com suggestion.
I will also vouch for Hilton Metropole(loved my stay there), but I will NEVER go back to Hilton Hyde Park, as that property should not even be a Hilton IMHO. You could find my reviews on flyertalk.
Sorry, can't help you with Trafalgar, although I do remember mostly positive reviews on flyertalk.

Is your screen name andrzej?

We had a hotel like that in Rome . . . the Carivaggio. A tiny dump.

We stayed 4 nights at the Hilton Green Park recently and had excellent service. They have a nice bar and lobby area-lots of chairs and sofas. We didn't eat in the restaurant because it seemed pretty expensive, especially with Shepherd's Market just around the corner with lots of pubs/restaurants. Unfortunately it was very warm in London last month but we managed.

We stayed at the Hilton London Mews in May, and had a lovely room, service was good, etc. The hotel is just behind the Hilton Hyde Park - but the H.L. Mews is much smaller and has lots more character.
