London-Cromwell Road-Walks
I will be in London 09-17 through 09-30. I will be staying on Cromwell Road near the Earl's Court tube station. I was wondering which of the following sites would you consider "walking distance" (I am 50 y.o. and in very healthy) from this area. Any I should cross off my list?
Holland Park & Cricket Fields (when do they play cricket there?)
Kensington Gardens and Palace
Hyde Park
Science Musem & Natural History Museum
Victoria & Albert Hall
Harrod's
Royal Albert Hall
I appreciate any and all input.
Thanking you in advance for your kindnesses,
Ron

Ron, when we go to London, we walk, walk and then, walk some more. Sure we occasionally (to make time or if we're tired) hop a double-decker or dip into the tube.
A good part of the fun, in our view, is the "getting there", soaking up the atmosphere of the various neighborhoods. The "means" to the "end" is often more important than that "end".
Therefore, in my opinion, you can and should, walk to all on your list. (This fits in with another answer I gave to you regarding the Travel Card.)

Speaking as someone rather older, and probably a great deal less fit than the poster, I'm puzzled about why the question is being asked.
All of them are in easy walking distance. Unless you're suffering from some serious incapacity, the weather's unpleasant, or you've got luggage or heavy shopping, you'd be nuts to travel any other way. If traffic's light, cabs'd be quicker (if diet doctoring pays well these days). But for such nearby places, buses or tubes would almost always work out at least as time-consuming as walking.
Something so obvious from any map, dietdoctor mustn't have a map handy. Go to multimap.com, and input your hotel's postcode. Then plan some serious walking.
