I found a few more. I really appreciate your thoughts/expertise. We don't necessarily need to be in the thick of things, but would like an underground station nearby. I've looked a little more central, but the prices go up the more central you become. Thanks - Robert

#1) Lots Rd - looks like an AMAZING flat --- 3 bdrm/2 baths. But it is probably an optimistic 7 minute walk to Imperial Wharf -- which is only served by London Overground so you will likely have many multi-transfer tube trips. I'd love to live there -- for a short vacation, maybe not so much

#2) Kensington Olympia - 2 bdrm/1 bath Not as posh a flat as #1. Unfortunately Kensington Olympia is a pretty useless station. But if it is only a minute's walk from KO station, then it will also be close to Kensington High Street which has really good bus service.

#3) Its a little hard to pinpoint where it is. Says 10 min walk from Kings Cross and infers the same from Upper Street. If it is near-ish the southern end of Upper Street one would think it would mention Angel Station. I'd probably avoid this one unless you can get the owner to give you the exact location (ask for the post code)

#1 is a wonderful looking flat in a fairly inconvenient location. #2 is more central - and using the buses is easy once you get the hang of it. A short bus ride would get you to High Street Kensington or Earls Court Stations. (the only place you can reach from Kens Olympia Station is Earls Court but - the frequency isn't that great so the bus is another option)

Thanks for the help and suggestions. #2 is about $1000 less than #1. That makes it an easier choice for me! Still need to get the family's input. I will say that I have messaged the owner of #1 twice already this morning and he's responded within a half hour each time. I think that says something. Will see about getting more info from #3.

Here's one more that we liked. Any major concerns here? Thanks again

That is a really nice location . . . until my favorite flat agency went out of business (they retired) I stayed in Pimlico probably 14 or 15 times over the years. It sounds like it is towards the north or east sides of Pimlico since it is a shorter walk to Victoria. Victoria is a major station. Pimlico is a pretty quiet area - but it is close to the river, Tate Britain, Sloane Square and of course - Victoria. This is a very central/convenient location. If the last photo is of the bldg, it appears to be on St George Drive and if the walk times are accurate it is probably near Warwick Way. Only thing is . . . again a 3rd floor walk up (4th floor in 'American')

If stairs aren't an issue this is the most central so far.

Read the reviews by previous renters, particularly the one from August 2022. I expect that the leak has been addressed but the top floor location and the possibility of hot weather might be concerns.

The 1st airbnb (Gabe's place) is the leader of the pack for me. The others are not well located, have too many flights of stairs. Pimlico is a nice neighborhood but not really as convenient to tube as you want, IMO.

I usually agree with just about everything seamus ever posts . . . however, I definitely disagree re Pimlico being not convenient. It is a great neighborhood and I've stayed in the general Pimlico/Victoria/Sloane Sq area countless times. It is walkable to the river, Tate Britain, Sloane Sq, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Cathedral, and its even walkable to places like Westminster Abbey. Parliament, Belgravia, etc. it is true Pimlico station is only on one tube line but apparently the flat is closer to Victoria so extremely convenient to other areas. I'm not advocating for that specific flat (3rd floor walk up and such) but I have total flexibility as to where I stay in London and Pimlico is always near the top of the list.
