London

Am planning to spend two to three nights in London either at the end or beginning of a UK tour in September. Would like suggestions for lower priced, well located B and Bs.

Rebecca, <BR> I've got a great place for you in Kensington. It's in a very desirable neighborhood and the hosts are genuinely nice. The home is beautiful and the breakfast is delicious. If you'd like details, e-mail me.

Jeff, could you post those suggestions here? I'm looking also. We're going the middle of September and I'm beginning to be desperate! Travel Inn Country Hall is booked, and several of the B&Bs I've located from this site's archives are also. Thanks!

Interesting to see that Travel Inn County Hall is already booked into September. We just made reservations for mid-October. Seems like a good choice for budget minded travelers.

I've stayed at the Thanet Hotel in Bloomsbury. It's nice and in a great location: w/in walking distance of the British Museum, Covent Garden, etc. It's close to Russell Square and Holborn tube stops. It's not real cheap, but for London it's not bad.
