We will be taking a train from Manchester to stay in London for 3-4 days. any suggestions on a reasonable place to stay? thanx

C'mon deborah. Look at the board first! there are easily hundreds of recommendations on here already. What area do you want? What do you mean by reasonable? 30 pounds, 150 pounds, more?

(Only slightly) more constructive suggestion - - take a look in Fodors Rants'n'Raves (hotels) to get some ideas about places by price and areas. The website www.timeout.com is also good.<BR><BR>Best wishes,<BR><BR>Rex<BR>

We liked the Adelphi Hotel on Cromwell Road near the Gloucester Road tube stop. Last September we paid L129 for a triple and L85 for a single, including a full breakfast and VAT.

Just got a great deal at www.discountcityhotels.com, scroll down to the three star superior and look at Berjaya Eden Park in Bayswater. got it for 69 pounds for August!!!
