Living in Copenhagen
Hi, I'm a 20 year old student possibly considering studying abroad in Copenhagen for six months next winter-spring. Though Copenhagen seems very interesting from the guides I have read, I was just wondering if anyone who has lived there or has been there extensively could let me know if they think it's a good city to live in for a young student, or if I'd be better off in a larger European city (Berlin, Paris, etc.)? Thanks.

No matter which city you choose, you can and should travel to other cities in Europe while you're there. But much as I like Copenhagen, one drawback is that it's just too easy for English speakers. Plus, Danish is of limited utility. You would have a better chance of speaking another major language and gaining proficiency if you went to Berlin or Paris. Copenhagen is also fairly expensive. But take a look at http://www.useit.dk and see what you think. I think you will enjoy Copenhagen a lot if you choose it.
