I found a reference on another travel (cruise) site for this company, and based on the recommendation there, I went ahead and booked a full-day private guide for Evora.

I can now highly recommend this company! We had such a good time that we used the same company (with a different guide) the next day for a half-day tour of Sintra and the Estoril Coast area. The cost ended up being about the same as Grey Line (the tour company our hotel recommended), but because it was a private tour, the guide was able to adjust what we did according to our interests.

Joana was our guide for Evora, Patricia (I think) for Sintra. Joana was great, just like having an old friend show you around her favorite haunts. Patricia was good also but much more business-like.
