Limo Driver Cuomo Renato

My husband and I are going to Italy on Jan 1 (on a group tour) and this is my first time on this sight. I am having a great time reading about everyone's experiences.

I recently 'hired' Cuomo Renato to pick my husband and I up in Naples and take us for a day trip to Sorrento, Pompei, and Positano. He does not require a deposit and his cost is very low. This made me nervous at first but I have read that some of you have had great experiences with him and his company. Is there any need to worry? You know what they say, if it is too good to be true, it probably is.

Hi,

We used his service this past Sept. When the power went out in Italy, I called him and he came to get us 3 hr early on a rainy Sunday.

He was prompt, pleasant, an excellent driver and knows the area very well. I believe that he was a SITA bus driver for some years before starting his own business.

The vehicle he was using for our trips to and from Naples was a new Mercedes van.

He is not "too good to be true".

We used him twice while we were in Positano last fall and our friends used him to get between Positano and Salerno. He sent us an e-mail Christmas card. I'd say you can count on him.

Can you give me an idea of cost, for example of a day trip from Sorrento to Pompeii?

gwer, care to explain yourself? That was about the most meaningless post I've ever seen. Did you actually use him? Did he overcharge you? Did he not show up? Did he run over a man and kill him and not stop to help? Details please.
I don't even know this Cuomo guy, but it sure makes no sense to post a comment like yours. About as meaningless as saying "Beware of Hyatt hotels"

OK, gwer, sorry, never mind. I just clicked onto your other posts and I now see that your comment was just part of your compaign to discredit Ira. I'm willing to bet you've never used the guy you're warning against. Be honest now. Right?
