Lido Policies - Lake Como

Hi - I am looking to book a casual pool party this summer on a Sunday afternoon. We are staying in Varenna so I would like to stay somewhat close. My questions are:

1) Are you allowed to bring outside food/wine into any of the Lido's?
2) Are there any that don't require a swim cap?
3) Are there any hotels or other pools that would allow us to purchase day passes?

I have been looking at Menaggio (requires swim cap), Bellagio (no pool, but looks nice, however they may have a wedding that day and therefore itw ould be closed to the public), Sport Club Olivedo, Lido di Lenno (requires swim cap).

Thank you in advance for your help!! Amanda

A local resident would probably be a better source for this info. Where are you staying in Varenna? You might ask the owner/manager of your hotel/apartment.

You could also email the Varenna Tourist Information Office.
