Lavender Chocolate in Paris

I bought this chocolate with lavender today at Le Grande Epicerie at Bon March Paris. It has an interesting flavour. The chocolate is excellent, so I don't think the lavender adds much to its overall deliciousness. I know Mimi likes lavender in her food. 🤩 Thin, aristocrat 🦌

It is fairly easy to find in stores.

Or you can order it online.

Hotel did not ask for vaccine status. It was easy to get past Passport Control. However, there were long lines at CDG. We stood in line for an hour. A nightmare.
The Parisians are cranky. We have come across few nice people. I guess everyone is "Covid angry."
To be honest, the nicest service people we have met work at Starbucks. The rudest were at Coutume on Rue Babylone. 🤩

I love the chocolate without the lavender. LOVE the Epicerie at Bon Marche. It's not overwhelming. For example, when I'm in Harrods my head explodes.
I'm sure the people in many places are just plain tired. I get it but it's too bad they can't be nice. I found everyone at Starbucks to be really nice too. That was pre-pandemic however. Glad to know they are still pleasant.
I hope you are having a nice trip. Not surprised about the time at CDG.

crefloors - there are reports of huge queues at LHR due to many staff being off with covid or because of contact with it. This is definitely one of the things that would put me off flying, if we could go anywhere.
Sorry you are encountering some grumpy Parisians, Thin. I hope they don't spoil your enjoyment of being in Paris too much.

I'm not much interested in flying yet. With my luck, I'd get a plane load of "Karens". LOL I think I'm doing road trips for a bit. Heading out tomorrow for a few days. I HOPE I can still get another trip to Europe before my health issues get the "best of me".
