Late flight into Heraklion AND where to eat late

Hi, We'll arrive late on a Friday night and after checking in at our hotel, the Megaron Hotel which is pretty central, apparently the restaurants stop serving at 11,30-ish . Does anyone know of any bars open at night late where we could have a snack, say a spinach pie etc

I believe Peskesi -- an excellent restaurant for regional cuisine -- is open until 1 a.m.

Thanks kja, I'll ask my hotel to make a late booking - although, with our arrival not necesarily being exact, it could be difficult .
In the meantime if you, or any other fodorites know of late bars open where we could get a spinach pie etc ..... ?

Why don't you ask your hotel if there is a place nearby that is open late that serves food?

Many restaurants/bars also list their hours online. You could check to see what is near via Google maps and research that way.
