Last-minute flights NYC-London?
Is it ever possible to find a good deal on a truly last-minute flight from NYC to London? Today is Monday, I would love to go Thursday if I can find something affordable.
I know fares go up a week before a travel date usually but am wondering if very last-minute bargains turn up.
I apologize if there is a thread on this, my search function will not work today.
Any info will really be appreciated.

I found the same deal on Travelocity or site59.com. $650+ with hotel. But also, I found a supposedly package which is just airfare (on British Airways) and a dinner at Planet Hollywood, for about $450 this weekend. You find your own hotels.
Not super cheap, but affordable.
