Vienna: Short term rental recommendations please

Does anybody have a recommendation for a short term rental for four people in Vienna for 18 - 22 December? We would like to stay near public transport and prefer to have two bedrooms.
Thanks in advance!

We loved the Hotel Kaiserin Elisabeth, in the heart of old Vienna, and near underground transit. Beautiful Viennese boutique hotel.

I found several possibilities on booking.com focusing in on short-term apartment rentals.

Thanks mokka4 - I have also clicked around on Booking.com. Sorry if this is not an intelligent question, but how do you find 'short term apartment rentals' there?

Please also help me to decide what is a good area of Vienna to stay in! We will have time for little more than visiting Shonbrunnen and the Opera - where would be a good area to find accommodation?

I just looked at vrbo.com for your dates are bedroom requirements, and there are quite a few place available in the Inner Stadt (look at the map view) that could work. There is ample access to public transportation, and most tourist sights (and Christmas markets) are within easy walking distance.

For planning, keep in mind that you'll need about 30 minutes on public transportation to reach Schloss Schönbrunn from the Inner Stadt.

Kovsie~~
of course Ferienwohnung is apartment. I then entered dummy dates (5 nights mid-December) with filter of inner city/city centre. As long as the listing gave me a final price, it allowed this shorter type of rental. There is an English option at the top somewhere... Happy hunting!
