I am writing for some advice on public buses or trains that serve the town of Pezanas, connecting it with either Beziers or Montpellier. Am making a decision on renting a house in Pezanas in 3rd wk of Oct. We plan on renting a car for a wk of the 11-day trip, probably at the beginning from Marseille to tour eastern Provence before heading to the Languedoc. We are having some trouble finding info about public transport to Pezanas on the internet and am hoping the experience and expertise of posters to this site can help. Thank you everyone!

Sorry, should have proofed more before the post (2nd cup of caffeine hadn't yet kicked in...!)

The town is Pézenas, about 20kms north-east of Béziers. And we'll be touring western Provence, not eastern Provence, beforehand.

Although I live near Beziers I don't use the bus however I'm quite sure that there are buses that serve Pezenas from Beziers and/or Montpellier. I suggest that you contact the Office de Tourisme in Pezenas directly. They have employees who speak English if you have difficulties with French.

There seems to be a pretty regular bus service to Montpellier & Beziers. Nearest rail station is Beziers.
