Lake Vouliagmeni in April?

My husband and I are visiting Greece next week and we have basically 2 full days in Athens, before and after going to Santorini. One of the days in Athens we will definitely be visiting the Acropolis and other ancient monuments around it. For the other day in Athens, I was thinking of going to Glyfada or Lake Vouliagmeni. I'm not sure if this is a good idea for this time of year, though. Anyone visited there in April? Can you swim in the lake or is it too cold? Are the cafes and things open at this time of year? Thank you for any info!

It is a hot spring, so I do not think it will be too cold, but I have not been in April. I too am hoping to go there on my next trip, though plans are still up in the air.
