Lake Como, Cinque Terra and Amalfi Coast - help us pick two out of the three!!!

We are also visiting Rome (5 days), Florence (4 days), Venice(4 days), and Paris (6 days - long b/c we're meeting up w/family there).

Having a really hard time picking two between Amalfi, CT, and Como. We have a total of 7 days to split between the two regions we visit.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Ella, It may depend on what time of year and if you plan to drive.

CT and Como would involve much less travel considering your other cities you plan to visit. Amalfi is spectacular, but it will involve going south of Rome, whereas you could do CT and Como in the north and save some travel time.

We are going from mid-May to mid-June and we don't plan to have a car. Thanks for your responses!

We visited both Lake Como and CT Aug 03. We loved both places. We stayed in a lovely hotel in Bellagio - Hotel Florence.
Some friends recommended it ( they have stayed their 7 times) Wonderful view of the lake - very peaceful area - dinner was set up outside by the lake under wisteria vines.
CT was beautiful too - hike, boat or take a train between the towns. We stayed in Monterosso per recommendation of Rick Steves. Have a great trip!

With your itinerary I would pick the northern options--the Amalfi coast is not easy to access and will take time.
