If like me, you've been watching and waiting to book tix for this summer...go for ti!
The MINI fares have fantastic discounts!

oh dear Peter, i already booked for June based on what was available! Fortunately, the times were good for us. The mini fares seemed excellent. For Firenze to Naples, the diff between 1rt and 2nd class with mini fare was negligible, so booked first for that one--even though others have written (including you perhaps?) that in terms of comfort and space, 1st and second class Eurostar are almost identical.

Calinurse, don't worry - you've bought the right things.. they post the fast trains and the major routes first, and then "fill in" the gaps later.
We don't usually bother with First, unless taking a long or slow journey (or joining a train that's doing so), but rarely purchase ahead either, with our sea crossing to do first...
Very often 2nd has 4 seats across the carriage, and 1st only 3, so there's usually some space benefit from paying the premium - but for full price tickets on a shortish ESAV journey I'd normally prefer not to pay a premium of about for that privilege!
