La foire au Jambon

It's almost time for the ham fair in Chatou.
If you are in Paris in March 11-20 over 400 antique sellers and food specialties from all over France are sold. You can taste the yummy ham from Alsace and other regional fare. Dress warmly.

We will be there the second week of March. We are renting an apartment in the 7th..with a view of the Eiffel Tower. Our baby boy will arrive while we are there! We have not seen him in a year..very excited, very happy here.
You know I will send you a postcard

I heard somewhere that this was held twice a year, once in the Spring and again some time in Sept. is that true? Do they have ham each time? I am going in the fall and hoped to find something like this to go to.

This really sounds fun, but we have "ham fairs" all the time in the theatre. We call them actors' workshops.

The Jambon fete is also in Late September.
I tried to find David Sederis's article about this event but could not find it on line.
