La Fenice Reservations

I have been trying everyday for the last week to get through to this hotel by fax and phone. (no answer) Any suggestions-the hotel sounds great.

Hotel La Fenice et des Artistes
Tel +39 041 5232333
Fax +39 041 5203721
email [email protected]

Not getting a fax answer doesn't surprise me. Not geting them to answer the phone sounds strange ... chances are that you're either not dialing the zero in the area code or calling in the middle of the night ... (they're at EST + 6 hours). If neither of the above apply ... you'd have to assume that their phone isn't working or the number is outdated. You could try their email though I wouldn't bet they'll answer either!

Paulo

PS. never dealt with them.
--
Dorrie:

Are you asking about 'La Fenice' bed & breakfast in Positano? I think there's several hotels in Italy with this or a similar name.

If it's the folks in Positano, they can be difficult to get a hold of. PLUS, I don't know if they're open year round' (shut down for Dec / Jan?).

We have stayed at La Fenice around christmas time so I know that they are open but I too, remember having a hard time gettign through to them to make a booking. Keep trying, and make sure you have the right number. Their brochure here tells me the numbers are -tele -089875513, fax -089811309. Hope you get thru. La Fenice was the highlight of our trip. Ask for the lower level room with a sit-out terrace (assuming you have no trouble in climbing several flights of stairs (all with breathtaking views however)to get the road level and several more to get to breakfast!)

Thanks for the info.
Yes I am trying to contact La Fenice in Positano. To the best of my knowledge they do not have an e-mail. I believe I am dialing correctly and have remembered the 9 hour time difference from the west coast
