As seems the norm Pal above does not have current knowledge of this Wachau area.

If so , he would advise of the construction to occur by Durnstein for the coming years. This may affect tourists at times as it will occur by the river>

well I think this was a petty picking - that someone does not know about construction in Durnstein - how would I know unless I went there every year - petty, petty and unwarranted IMO. That I cannot comment on how wonderful the Wachau Valley is and the boat ride is ridiculous - no I have not been there for a few years but have taken the cruise several times over the years. Yes my info may not be right up to the minute and I admit that but that don't prevent me from commenting on how great Durnstein is and the cruise in general. Enough said - I hope we can have a modicum of politeness in the future and not picaynue attacks like you continually make.
