I flew non stop Krakow to Budapest last March on Malev Airline. Don't rememeber the price but it was approx. 45 minute flight with a very courteous crew AND include a meal. Unheard of for a 45 minute flight!
Try www.malev.hu
Be aware that Krakow airport is at best described as mass confusion with little in the way of english directions. To be fair though the terminal was under repair and apparent upgrade.
Have a great trip.

John! I stumbled across this old post of yours, when I was trying to figure out an easy way to get to and from Krakow.
Thanks for the tip about Malev Airline. This is what makes Fodors so great! I was able to get a really cheap fare ($77) from Krakow to Budapest, thanks to your post back in November. For anyone else who would benefit from a cheap fare from Krakow to Budapest, you need to book it through the New York Malev office, phone 800 223-6884. Be prepared to wait on hold a long time. Note that you can't book this fare on the Malev website.
