Knightsbridge Apartment

We're interested in renting a 2 bedroom, 2 bath flat for a family of 4 in the area around the Victorian and Albert Museum/Brompton Oratory. The bathrooms should have "fixed over" showers and the flat should be within a few minutes walk of a Tube station. Our budget is under $1500 (950GBP) per week. I know this is a tall order. Any suggestions?

There are multiple ways to find flats. Just came back from renting a flat in Mayfair for a week.

Buy the book "How to Stay in London for Less" by Dana & Ronald Jensen. It is a very detailed guide on flats all around London organized by region. Each place was visited by the authors and described in detail with contact information. In addition, the back of the book has a list of many flat rental service companies that you could use if you don't find one in the book to your liking. Very good resource!!!

I was just going to recommend the same book, "How to Stay in London for Less." We stayed in Chelsea at the Sloane Club Suites. It was perfect. The Tube stop was a two minute walk, perfect for families. The apartements are located are a nice quite street in the heart of Chelsea which is close to Knightsbridge.

I've stayed here. Very nice. Some flats have patios or balconies, or penthouse deck. Fits all your requirements.

Hi, thanks for the suggestions. I'm still hoping for the Knightsbridge/Brompton area. But, elisar, I'd be interested in looking at Sloane Sq's web site if they have one...
