Kew Gardens in February?

Hi
Do you think that there is enough going on in the greenhouses to interest a flower-lover in mid-February?
Or should I save it for another time?
Is afternoon tea still served at the Maids of Honour in Feb?

I have been to Kew in all seasons. There are always many things to see.Besides green houses,if the weather is mild,in mid-February,crocuses,snowdrops,camillias and some species of rhododendrons shall be all out. You will be right in time for annual "Orchids Festival"(Feb.9-Mar 10),there will be thousands orchids from all over the world.

I am afraid I don't know about the tea services.

Hi Elaine, I have everything you ever need to know here :0) thanks to my friends in London..
the site for Kew Gardens is www.rbgkew.org.uk -that will give you an update of what is going on in the Gardens.Squaremeal.co.uk will tell you everything you ever wanted to know about all restaurants in London--go to Richmond/Kew for the Maids of Honor -- but my friends says that they most likely are open as they never close! also-one more! google.co.uk (great for all things English)-just type in maids of honor and you will be able to find things out that way too~hope this helps~Candice
