kayaking in Dubrovnik

kayaking in Dubrovnik
We are looking for a half day kayaking tour in Dubrovnik. Does anyone have any experience with this? there seem to be many different tour operators and many different islands. We would like to spend about 3 hours kayaking and 1-2 hrs on a remote beach for a break and picnic lunch. Any suggestions?

IMO, the best kayak company in Dubrovnik is Adriatic Kayak Tours (www.adriatickayaktours.com). They offer some half day tours that sound like they would be right for you. I'm not sure how remote you can get in just 3 hours, but maybe you can paddle out to Lokrum island.

RayKrebs is absolutely correct, Adriatic Kayak Tours is the very best company here in Dubrovnik. Owned and operated by a group of top notch professionals. Their website does offer a half day tour to the island of Lokrum. Do check out their site, details are shown.

we did a half day kayak tour thru Adriatic.. we went all the way around Lokrum island. stopped for a bit of snorkling before arriving back where we started. they supplied the snorkles. it was really great fun. not sure if you could stop for a picnic.. they probably want all the kayaks back at the same time. worth asking tho.
